Matthew Fischer, MPT, is a Vancouver-based physical therapist working at Progression Clinic within Progression Bouldering Gym. He specializes in lower extremity and climbing-related injuries, with a background in foot and ankle rehabilitation in both surgical and non-surgical settings. His clinical focus is on load capacity, tissue resilience, and return-to-performance in climbers of all levels. An active boulderer himself, Matthew brings both clinical expertise and personal experience to his work, including his own recovery from a non-operative Achilles tendon rupture.
