Dr. Marieta Buse (she/her), BSc, ND, CISSN is a licensed naturopathic doctor and certified sports nutritionist with a clinical focus on athlete health, performance, and injury management. An avid rock climber for over 10 years, she takes a systems-based, evidence-informed approach to care, developing individualized treatment plans based on each athlete’s history and goals. Dr. Buse is a co-author of the 2018 and 2020 ProHealthSys textbooks on Orthopedic Assessment and a contributing author to the 2021 ProHealthSys textbook on Naturopathic Physical Medicine. She is an experienced presenter, having spoken at previous Canadian Climbing Medicine Symposiums and regularly delivering performance workshops across many sports including climbing and gymnastics.
